Trindlemoss Day Opportunities

We provide our Adult Day Opportunities in Irvine.

Staff at Trindlemoss are focused on making services truly centred on the person.

This involves:

  • changing the focus from support needs to life aspirations
  • people living with learning disabilities having equal opportunities to live life to the full

Activities

Activities at Trindlemoss are led by the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of our customers.

To achieve this, we collaborate with a growing range of partners across North Ayrshire, to connect people with opportunities within communities. Trindlemoss itself also serves as a place of opportunity.

Future developments

Some of our planned future developments at Trindlemoss include:

  • a community cafe, with opportunities for people to experience front of house, cooking, marketing, and customer care
  • hair care and other training and education opportunities linked to our Kindness Room, as well as the opportunity for relaxation
  • gardening and horticulture activities, which will be linked to the sustainability of the cafe, as well as developing as social enterprises in their own right

Our aims

Trindlemoss aims to transform community attitudes to better support and promote opportunities for people with learning disabilities. We will help individuals share their strengths and skills with the community, and encourage recognition for their input.

Throughout all our work, we stay focused on our customers, and the relationships that support and enrich them.

How do I access Day Opportunities?
