Subject Access Requests

Data protection legislation gives you a legal right of access to your personal data. This is called a Subject Access Request.

To make a Subject Access Request, please see North Ayrshire Council’s Data Protection page.

Publication scheme

The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 requires Scottish public authorities to produce and maintain a publication scheme.

Our IJB became subject to the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 on 1 April 2015. We have adopted the Model Publication Scheme produced by the Scottish Information Commissioner. This scheme has the Commissioner's approval.

We must:

  • Publish the classes of information that they make routinely available
  • Tell people how to access the information and what it might cost
