Chief Social Work Officer

The Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968 (the 1968 Act) requires local authorities to appoint a single Chief Social Work Officer (CSWO) for the purposes of listed social work functions.

North Ayrshire Council delegated social work functions to North Ayrshire Integration Joint Board: North Ayrshire Chief Social Work Officer works as part of North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership. David MacRitchie is our Chief Social Work Officer.
